Among the notables attending
the opening ceremonies were First Ladies Martha Fox of Mexico and Libby
Pataki of New York City, Felipe Solís (Curator, and Director
of Mexico's National Museum of Anthropology), Emilio Azcárraga
(President of Televisa Group), Thomas Krens (Director of The Guggenheim)
and many other representatives of New York's cultural, philanthropic
and social elite.
The Aztec Gala Dinner was a meaningful cultural event where guests experienced
exquisite dishes representative of ancient Mexican and Aztec cuisine,
and enjoyed Casa Noble ultra premium tequilas served straight for sipping
and in delicious mixed concoctions.
The evening began with the arrival of the First Ladies of Mexico and
New York City who were lead by the Museum Director on the first official
visit to the exhibition. The tour concluded at the top of the building
where guests were greeted with Casa Noble Crystal served straight for
sipping or as a cocktail with Pomegranate juice shaken with ice and
served in an elegant martini glass.
Speeches by the Museum Director, Martha Fox and the Fist Lady of New
York noted appreciation of the arts and the relationship and long history
between both countries. Guests were openly mesmerized by the powerful
and beautiful nature of the many artifacts on display.
The following day, Casa Noble Reposado was the favorite during the formal
cocktail celebration for the official opening of the Aztec Exhibit.
Favorite choices among guests were Casa Noble Margaritas and the Casa
Noble Granada Cocktail. Museum patrons were greeted with Casa Noble
Anejo in a private reception. Casa Noble Tequila was honored to enrich
this grand exhibition of the Aztec civilizations which have played such
an important role in the history of Mexico.
